AutoHunter Spotlight: 1993 Chevrolet Corvette 40th Anniversary Edition

To celebrate 40 years of making Corvettes, Chevrolet created the 40th Anniversary Edition package made available for all 1993 Corvettes. What makes this edition special and stand out among all other Corvettes is the Ruby Red color found inside and out and the special 40th-anniversary emblems on the car.

AutoHunter, driven by ClassicCars.com, has one of these 40th Anniversary Edition Corvettes up for auction with just over 1,000 miles on it. It is one of 2,043 convertible Corvettes equipped with the 40th Anniversary package and is powered by a 5.7-liter LT1 V8 paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.

According to the seller, the Corvette is completely original and unrestored, with only the fluids, tires, and battery replaced.

The body is finished in the factory original Ruby Red Metallic paint and has the 40th Anniversary badges on each front fender along with a maroon convertible top. Making this car even more special, it is one of 765 convertibles with a black factory luggage rack and one of 976 with a matching removable hardtop.

Inside, you’ll find power-adjustable bucket seats fitted with Ruby Red leather and matching door panels, carpets and convertible top boot. It’s equipped with heated electric side-view mirrors, air condition, title steering, cruise control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and the factory Delco/Bose stereo AM/FM/CD/cassette.

The auction ends January 14th at 11:00 a.m. MST.
