Suspension specialist Ridetech has launched new suspension systems for 2007-2013 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra in air or coil-over setups. Both are designed for pickup trucks with rear-wheel drive.
“Using tubular control arms in front and a bolt-on 4-link in the rear, this system starts off with significantly better geometry for cornering and acceleration control,” Ridetech said in its announcement.
“The combination of lighter weight and highest quality bushings / joints allows the system to react freely, without binding or stiction. A smooth and light suspension lets the job of controlling the truck’s movement be handled by the amazing Fox shocks – that you can adjust to get exactly the ride you are after.”

The coil-over system includes front & rear HQ Series rebound adjustable coil-overs, front upper and lower tubular control arms, bolt-on 4 link with c-notch, front sway bar, and drop spindles, and lowers the front of the vehicle 4 inches from stock and 6 inches at the rear.
Ridetech says the HQ shocks “utilize an impact forged aluminum body and Monotube design to deliver excellent ride quality and handling. They allow fine-tuning of the ride quality and handling the rebound knob is located at the top of the shock for under hood access.”
TQ Series adjustable shocks are available as an upgrade.
The StrongArm tubular arms feature injection-molded Delrin bushings with 13 percent Teflon to reduce deflection and stiction and are designed for more camber adjustment.
A front MuscleBar sway bar is included to reduce body roll. Drop spindles provide for a longer-stroke shock and fit wheels 18 inches or larger.
The bold-on 4-link rear is designed to improve traction, handling and ride quality, Ridetech said.
The Air Ride system also lowers the front 4 inches and the rear 6, and drops the truck an additional 3 inches when fully deflated.
The setup includes HQ Series ShockWaves air-ride shocks and springs (with TQ Series available as an upgrade), upper and lower StrongArms tubular control arms, from MuscleBar sway bar, drop spindles and bolt-on 4-link rear with R-Joint rod ends “to eliminate binding and noise.”
Pricing for the coil-over setup ranges from $5,975 to $8,175 and for the Air Ride system from $6,475 to $8,475.
